Japan offers a lot to your nightlife: cinemas, theatres, bars, coffee shops, discos, Karaoke and nightclubs. Japanese like to drink as the pressure from work can be away. Comparing with the other countries, Japanese bars are very creative and stylish that arranges from luxury to cheap street stalls. Rooftop beer gardens are popular in the summer.There are several bars and clubs charge the entry fee and offer hostess service that you need to buy drinks and snacks. So it's advisable to ask before entering. All styles of music can be found in one evening. Foreign opera and ballet companies, orchestras and rock/pop stars visit Japan through all the year. For those who would like to explore Japanese own performance arts, there is kabuki and noh theatre in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya and other major Japanese cities.
