Rich in natural resorces, Chongqing produces a great variety of local and special products including valuable traditional Chinese herbs and famous fruits, such as pears, navel oranges, pomeloes and persimmons. 1. Jiefangbei
Today, Jiefangbei becomes the center of commercial and economic area of Chongqing. Clusters of modern shopping malls and exclusive shops line the roadsides. Banks, theatres, KTV clubs, bookstores, hotels, bars and pubs are also quite easy to find. Some of the main buildings worth seeing include Chongqing Department Store, New Century Department Store, Commercial Mansion, Friendship Shopping Center, Carrefour Supermarket and New Oriental Women Plaza.

2. Flower and Bird Market
Nan Bin Road boasts a newly opened flower market that has become a leisure hotspot for locals and tourists. Over 100 flower shops, handicrafts stores and tea houses just line in both side of the street. Fragrant herbs and Jasmine flowers perfume this open-air market. Vendors hitch in from countryside with rare orchids and other delicate potted plants. Post-SARs, unfortunately, birds are on longer sold here.

3. Chaotianmen
The Chaotianmen market, located nearby Jiefangbei, is the biggest market in Chongqing. Dealing mainly in Garment wholesales, it is said that the goods traded here are from and sold to more than 200 counties in China and exported also. You surely can find your piece and the stylish one at a rather reasonable price. And bargining with the merchants will necessarily ensure you a good deal.

4. Guanyinqiao
Ages ago, Guanyin, the goddess of Mercy, saved residents from a flood with the lotus bridge. Today, the only magic around here is how your money disappared.
