Karinthip Village uses a flying elephant fully dressed as a memorial of the history. Karinthip means an elephant from the heaven, therefore, the resort name was created, œKarinthip Village The elephant standing right in front of the resort was named œKarinthip. Karinthip was fully dressed to remind people of the white elephant that carried the relic to Doi Suthep. At the time the owner planned to develop this land, she had a dream of a white elephant staying right where it is right now and a building in front of her with Colonial Architecture.
