The location is definitely not scenic but handy for the tube (3 min). Jamie Oliver's fifteen restaurants is about 15 min walk and the London buses are good. There are lots of bars and restaurants in the area. Staff was fine and helpful. The continental breakfast was a mad scramble with people falling over each other for food which was a bit annoying but you got there in the end. I liked the room. It was simple but furnished with niceties like a small TV, tea and coffee making facilities, clean carpets, a sofa bed/couch, a double bed, clean and usable bathroom, an open wardrobe a small desk and plenty of reading lamps.
