The Jamsil was on the completely opposite side of Seoul than the Lotte Hotel. The walk to the station was a good 10 minute walk from the hotel which wasn't bad unless it's below freezing outside liked it was when we were there. The room was complete, with smallish old-fashioned TV (only time I saw one of these oldies in Korea - the country is full of LCD and plasma TVs) with dozens of mostly Korean channels, a fridge, a working desk, table with two chairs, and space to hang clothes. There was no safe in our room. The windows had double glazing, so traffic noise from the busy road outside was virtually inaudible.
