The location of the hotel was fine - situated within a relatively quiet district. It was a 10 minute walk to Rembrandt Square and 2 minutes to the nearest tram stop.Max hotel was terrible. The staff was rude, unfriendly and not helpful at all. We find out that: TV was broken, bed was broken, window was broken, no clean towels but, breakfast was ok. Breakfast room was located next to the reception, going down the stairs. We asked to speak with the manager about the general situation (was extremely poor) and the woman at the reception was extremely rude and a bit aggressive.
