The hotel is about 10 mins walk away from the JR loop line and very close to the subway. Rooms were fairly well appointed with a water boiler, TV with 2 English channels and roughly 12 others in Japanese, fairly comfortable beds, bar fridge and a chair and coffee table. I thought there was also free access to internet if you bring your own computer. The hotel staff all seemed to speak very well to excellent English and those that I spoke to were very helpful to point out popular night spots in the namba area. All in all, the Sheraton Miyako was our perfect hotel. The location was excellent, the food was lovely (including room service, which was delivered promptly and excellently presented), and the service we experienced was leaps and bounds beyond any we had experienced before. A selection of restaurants on the top floor of the department store. BTW, we had our first dinner at a restaurant there that specializes in noodle, great food.
