This hotel is in a very nice area, in fact one of the best we visit in Tokyo, and we visited a lot. This is a very foreigner friendly hotel. Check-in was quick and easy, most of the staffs are bilingual, friendly and helpful- even after I had checked out, I forgot a few pieces of clothing in the closet, and they just sent it to my next hotel in Kyoto and made sure it arrived in time before I checked out. The rooms are functional. The TV's have one English Channel, BBC World. The TVs are dated, but i was told that an upgrad is coming soon in the next year or so as Japan will switch all to digital ones by 2011. It is definitely a cost effective place. The price included a free buffet breakfast, which offers both Japanese and western breakfast staples and it's just delicious. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
