The hotel is in easy walking distance from the central station, about 10 minutes. Close to Stroget, the main shopping area. ours was overlooking Vestervoldgade and the hotel entrance but we didn't hear a sound all the time we were there. The new room still had a free mini-bar and I felt obliged to make the Carlsberg's disappear each evening! The new room has a mini-safe too which came in useful, and the large bed was as comfortable as the one in the old style room. A comprehensive breakfast was included which we made the most of, cereals, cold meats and cheese, hot bacon and potatoes, scrambled egg, Danish pastries and breads along with all the expected fruit juices, teas and coffee.
