The Du Nord is really well placed - right by the central train station (which is only a hop skip and jump from the airport) and within walking distance of Radhuspladsen and that end Stroget (the main walking street).The hotel seems recently renovated. Furniture and equipment are in good shape. Our three single bed bedroom was a really good size, we had plenty of room for all our suitcases and crap. The bathroom was huge! There was a desk, closet, and flat screen TV. The beds were the most comfy on my whole trip to Europe. The front desk staff was wonderfully helpful. They were always willing to point you in the right direction and give you pointers for sightseeing. Free internet! The breakfast was wonderful - a huge table of goodies (try the breads and jams - delicious!) in a very nice breakfast room but a little small.
