It's the nicest place i've ever ever been. Hotel is well decor and located. We stayed in a deluxe room which was great. Their suites and villas also look gorgeous but the rate a bit high. We really enjoyed the meals there, especially the Chinese restaurant in hotel. The choice of buffet breakfast is limited but good enough to ensure you a nice start of a brand new day. The hotel staff was trained though their service wasn't outstanding. And pls take note it's quite chilly at night even in summer. Anyway, we loved the old town of Lijiang. It was rather charming and graceful. We really enjoyed strolling through the streets and alleys along the waterways and looking in the shops and trying some of the local costume The Naxi people are friendly and kind-hearted. One evening, we walked from the hotel to Shuhe (another old town in Lijiang, 5 minutes walking distance from hotel) where we danced and sang the night away with other travellers (most of them are from Europe). I just regret that we only spent one night in Shuhe old town... All in all, it's a place where you should go at least for once during your lifetime.
