On the sandy beach front of Tolo, Knossos is ideally located so close to the water that the guest will sleep to the tranquil sound of waves. The town and all places of interest are within walking distance, and picturesque Nafplio can be reached within 10 minutes by car or public transport. The rooms have been recently renovated and are medium sized in blue and white colours and nice furnishings reminiscent of the Aegean architectural style. Most rooms have a balcony opening to the Tolo Bay and the lovely islets of Remvi and Koronis. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV and optional refrigerator. The restaurant area is small but cozy and is furnished with the characteristic Greek taverna style chairs and tables. A variety of traditional decorations adorn the walls : Old petrol lamps, enamel plates and oil paintings give a traditional feel to the breakfast area. The hotel is a two storey white building with blue doors and windows. There is a nice pergola just outside on the seaside, excellent for a light snack or a refreshment. It all looks and feels like an Aegean island house. The lobby is small and the lounge combines with the breakfast area. This hotel is literally on the seafront of a very popular tourist resort, and very close to Nafplion. Ideal for young couples and families who want to have a fun break in a truly idyllic setting.
